Dear Students, teachers and Parents
Nava Nalanda is a visionary endeavour by its founders, the great enterprising duo, Bharati Mitra and Arya Mitra way back in 1967. Their heartfelt desire and aim was to create an academic institution that harmonizes India’s rich educational heritage with modern educational goals. Inspired by the historic Nalanda Mahavihara, Nava Nalanda aspires to cultivate in its students a profound respect and pride for India’s diverse and ancient culture, knowledge systems, and traditions, while also fostering a global outlook.
At Nava Nalanda, we hold dear our founding principles of excellence, integrity, and holistic education. Since our inception, these values have been the cornerstone of our mission, fostering an environment that not only nurtures academic achievement but also prioritizes moral and ethical development. We are dedicated to fostering well-rounded individuals who not only excel intellectually but also embody social responsibility and empathy. Our commitment to inclusivity, respect, and continual improvement permeates every aspect of our institution. We are firmly devoted to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where diversity is celebrated, and every individual is valued. We stand united against all forms of racism and bullying, ensuring that every member of our school from students to staff members feel safe, respected, and empowered. Together, we strive to create a culture of kindness, understanding, and mutual respect, where differences are not only acknowledged but embraced as strengths. Looking forward, our unwavering goal is clear: to empower our students with an education that equips them to thrive and positively impact society. Each policy and initiative we implement is carefully designed to uphold these principles, ensuring that we sustain the highest educational standards. Our aspiration is for Nava Nalanda Group of Schools to continue shining brightly as a symbol of excellence in education and character development for all our students.
Thank you.
