To            : All Guardians of the Students of Classes N-I to X

Re: School fees w.e.f 01/05/2021

You are well aware of the fact that, the school management, vide notices dated 08.11.2020 and 30.12.2020, had offered the guardians the waiver scheme as formulated by the school keeping in view the economic uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nava Nalanda is a private un-aided school and does not receive any grant-in-aid whatsoever from the State Government or any other body. The School is completely dependent on the fees paid by guardians for meeting all its expenditures. Considering the financial conditions of the guardians, the school management did not increase the fees for the year 2021 and instead reduced the session and other fees. Guardians were also permitted to pay the school fees in easy monthly installments. It may also be noted that the Government had permitted resumption of physical classes for students from Class IX to XII since February 2021.You will appreciate that the school management cannot remain ignorant about the well being of the teachers and other employees who ensure the functioning of the school. It may be noticed that the management was not able to provide any sort of financial increments to them in the last year and is now committed to look after their interest as well.

Under these circumstances, the management is compelled to withdraw the waiver benefits given to the guardians vide the aforesaid notices dated 08.11.2020 and 30.12.2020 with effect from 1st May, 2021. Those who availed the waiver benefits earlier are hereby requested to pay the normal fees from the month of May 2021.

Your cooperation in this matter is highly solicited.
